Apple of Discord (working title) is a multimedia dance piece bringing together performance, puppetry, live projection, clay and scent, utilising characters from Greek mythology to reflect elements of the present - our polarised society, discord and protest.

 

Anders' works are informed by an object at the start of the making process, which drives the movement languages and how performers interact with materials. For Apple of Discord, heavy and smearable clay and delicate and fragile reel-to-reel tape are the primary materials.
